Director of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Gilbert Chapweteka has asked people in the district to continue practicing preventive measures to curb the rise in cholera.
Dr. Chapweteka says cumulatively they have registered 59 cholera cases out of which 15 are local cases while 44 are suspected to have been imported from Mozambique.
Meanwhile, the Nsanje DHSS says they have made strides in containing Covid-19, saying they have had no active cases for over three weeks now since the last two cases they managed recently.
