Masambanjati police officer in-charge, senior superintendent, George Kaleso said the incident has happened at Muwalo village, Traditional Authority Changata in the district.

Kaleso said the man was found around 0800 hours.

"The couple did some gardening piece work and were paid K12,000 which was kept by the wife. Yesterday, when Mr. Kondwani asked for his share, the wife told him she had donated the money to their local church," he said.

The Masambanjati police OC added that an argument broke out between them before the deceased was found hanging to a roof of the prayer house.
