New Chief Mwase Installed

KASUNGU: The new chief Mwase of Kasungu has been installed with government calling on members of the royal family to bury their differences for the sake of development.

Local government minister Henry Mussa made the call Thursday when he presided over the installation of Mr. Japhet Chozale as the new chief at Linga, the headquarters of the Mwase Chieftaincy.

The Mwase chieftainship date back to the 1700 AD. Mr Japhet Chozale is the 12th to ascend to the throne.

However, his ascension did not come on a silver platter with the ceremony being cancelled at first because another member of the royal family, Mr. Charles Zimba challenged the position.

Among the notable dignitaries at the ceremony were the minister of local government and rural development, Paramount chief Lundu, Senior chiefs, government officials and the civil society.

Speaking at the function, Minister of local government and rural development, Mr. Henry Mussa advised the new chief to bury the hatchet.  - Zodiak Online

"Ex-24 Hour Fitness Chairman Chris Davis Seeks $23 Million. So think about it, if you just took that 15 minutes to "vacuum", the room would stay more vibrant and fresh a lot longer. Proteins are just one of the important ingredients we need to live and stay healthy.
