Judiciary Strike Ends
Malawians can now breathe a sigh of relief as judiciary workers who have been on strike for over three months now are expected to resume work on Monday March 26.
This follows an agreement signed with government on Saturday March 24.
In the agreement government has pledged to raise their salaries and pay them all arrears owed.
The development will effectively decongest the country’s police cells and prisons as hundreds of suspects have been denied justice due to the strike.—Zodaik Online
