Coming forth as his first new single of the year, “Ndimasangalala” breaks the silence of Teddy’s short recent hiatus and moments after his previous debut album, "Makadi" released in October last year.

"Ndimasangalala" was first exclusively premiered on MBC Radio 2 FM’s program 'Made On Monday' before later hitting other streaming platforms for the public.

In a statement, the singer described his new song as a celebration of love experienced by somebody who has lost their loved one.

"It emphasizes and illuminates on the memories, joy, and peace that comes with knowing you shared a part of their life or they shared a part of their life with you and just thanking them for letting you in to be part of it".

"I thought it was ideal for me to drop the song on Valentine's, especially for people who lost their loved ones or wish they could be here so they could enjoy Valentine's together but didn't actually have the opportunity to do so," said Teddy.

Over time, Teddy has quickly become one of the country's most prominent R&B and Pop artists of the urban music industry and is being recognized alongside other top musicians like Kell Kay, Bucci, Kelvin Sings, and Tuno among others.

He continues to shine in showing off his musical skills as both a talented producer and artist.
