Speaking to Zodiak Online, Shaba said the poem, titled "No one left behind" will be released on 1st March 2023 leading to the International Women's Day which is commemorated on 08th of March every year.

"In my capacity as an activist and Dr Joyce Banda in her capacity as gender equality champion it was only right to collaborate in this project to address gender gaps," said the poet.

Common gender equality gaps in Malawi are easily noticed on ownership and control of assets and economic opportunities and violence against women and girls.
