Sexual and Reproductive Health Directorate in the Ministry of Health says lack of funds for awareness campaigns is fueling to a low percentage of women who are willing to get screened of Cervical Cancer in the country especially in remote areas.

Organizations that provide sexual reproductive health systems have bemoaned lack of sexual reproductive health services in evacuation camps, saying it will fuel unwanted pregnancies among women and girls.

Mulanje District Council has expressed worry over low funding towards Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH).
