Supa Pesa Presents K21 million to Lucky Winner

Supa Pesa, a Malawian sports betting firm, has presented a K21 million cheque to Gift Bonyonga who emerged overall winner in the Bet Yanga sports prediction game.
The company’s chief executive officer, Richard Makondi, says he is proud to be part of Malawi's economic Transformation through sports betting.
"The exciting part on our side is that we are changing lives of Malawians. Here we have someone who has won K21 million with just a mare K200 ticket.
“Am very much sure you will agree with me that this a big step in life for this young man. We are therefore creating millionaires" he said.
Malawi Gaming Board and National Lotteries Board Licensing Manager, Miriam Kumbuyo, warned people never to take betting as a source of income as it is just part of sports.
The Lilongwe based Bonyonga, 27, said he will use the money to grow his mobile money business.
