Ecobank Insists on Cashless Transactions
Ecobank says it will continue to encourage Malawians to use digital means when making transactions as it remains the most efficient, time-saving and convenient way.
The bank’s Head of Brand, Marketing, and Corporate Communications Tidzi Chalamba says this is why Ecobank has free mobile banking platforms to allow their customers to transact at no hustle.
“Apart from the free transactions that we are offering, the bank is also rewarding customers who transact on the bank’s free mobile banking platforms namely Ecobank Mobile App and *326# Mobile banking,” said Chalamba.
He added that every Friday, 13 lucky customers are being rewarded with XpressCash tokens ranging Mk100, 000, K50, 000, and K20,000 that are redeemed at any Ecobank ATM using the cardless cash withdrawal option with no need of an ATM card.
He was speaking Wednesday ahead of a fourth draw which is expected to be conducted on September 16, 2022.
As of last week, 39 customers were rewarded with various cash prizes in the third draw of “Ka *326# Weekend Starter Promo”. A promotion running from 19 August to 14 October 2022.
Yayha Shammas who who scooped the top weekly prize of K100, 000 Xpress Cash Token commended Ecobank for running the promo.
