Kids and Future Foundation is a non-governmental organization funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and currently operating in Salima District, in two zones; Ngolowindo and Mgwirizano. The Foundation is dedicated to high quality education within its project target schools. In 2020 the Foundation has, among other activities, constructed school blocks for Pemba, Maganga and Ngolowindo Primary Schools.
The newly constructed school blocks will help reduce the number of classes administered outside classrooms in these schools in 2021/2022 academic year. Observations were made by the organization that, there is higher enrollment of learners in these schools and that number of classes administered outside classrooms and under trees was on the rise, contributing to overcrowding of learners in their respective classes. These economic school blocks were hence constructed to ensure that learners are in conducive and friendly environments.
