Zodiak Broadcasting Station has moved in to bail out 27 learners from the best performing primary school in the 2019 Primary school leaving certificate of education exams who are failing to report to various secondary schools they have been selected due to financial support.

The learners, from Natiswe Primary School in Dedza, have been selected to some of the country’s best secondary schools, including Ludzi Girls, Likuni Girls, Lilongwe Girls, Mayani, Umbwi and Mlanda.

ZBS Managing Director Gospel Kazako says the institution has taken the initiative to help mobilize resources for the learners who are now stranded due to lack of money for tuition.

The learners are also in need of basic necessities realizing the critical role education plays in the country’s development. Kazako says, “We’ll make sure that names of all contributors to the cause are acknowledged accordingly.”

The ZBS Managing Director says the institution will ensure that the learners are supporting until their complete their secondary school education.

ZBS was the first to break the news about the plight of the Natiswe Primary School learners.
