Goshen Foundation Corporation Donates to Chisomo Orphanage Centre
Goshen Foundation Corporation has challenged people in the country to inculcate a spirit of love in order to address numerous challenges facing orphaned children and the elderly.
Speaking to Zodiak Online after making a donation of assorted items to Chisomo Orphanage Centre, Goshen Foundation Director Bishop Agabas Mwang'onda said they felt imperative to extend such a gesture as a way of celebrating together with orphans and the elderly during the Christmas and New year festivities.
"The Bible teaches us to show love to the underprivileged communities who are grappling to make ends meet," he said.
On his part, Chisomo Orphanage Centre and the Elderly Executive Director Bernard Chikhaso said to food shortages they are forced to provide one meal per day instead of three times.
"We are appealing to the corporate world and individuals of good will to come to the rescue of the orphaned children and the elderly by providing basic necessities," Chikhaso said.
The institution is keeping a total of sixty children.
