Five Robert Blake Secondary School Students Arrested in Dowa Fracas

On Monday, learners from Robert Blake Secondary school went to Dowa 1 Primary School where they allegedly wanted to damage the school.

Police came in quickly to calm the situation as the primary school learners were also charged to fight back.

Apparently, angry community members surrounding Dowa 1 Primary School also came in quickly to protect their children.

The community members managed to arrest five Robert Blake Secondary school learners and handed them over to police.

Dowa 1 Primary School Head teacher, Langton Kachikopa told Zodiak Online that Robert Blake secondary school learners allegedly damaged some property at the school.

“Robert Blake secondary school students tortured our learners and they damaged doors,  cleaning materials and they planned to damage my office,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dowa police publicist Sub-inspector Gladson M'bumpha said the five arrested students have been released from custody on police bail.
