CRWB Construct 2 Water Storage Tanks at Dedza Hospital

Concerned with an erratic water supply that is affecting operations at Dedza District Hospital, Central Region Water Board has constructed two water storage tanks worth K6m.

Acting Director of Technical Services at CRWB, Philip Kaingo, said they are committed to addressing water problems in hospitals hence installing the water tanks, one with 10 000 litres capacity and the other 5, 000 litres.

Speaking during the handover ceremony in Dedza Kaingo said they noticed that the district Hospital has been facing an erratic water supply.

Director of health and social services Dr Isaac Mbingweni said the district hospital has been running without water a development that was affecting operations in most crucial departments.

"We thank CRWB for this assistance, it will ease our challenges at the Hospital," said Mbingwani.

He however pleaded with other well-wishers and Organisations to assist some health centres that are facing similar challenges.
