One of the country’s corporates Old Mutual Malawi shone at the 2021 Marketing Excellence Awards after scooping three awards at the annual conference.

The Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM) conference annually gathers the local marketing fraternity and recognizes the top campaigns in the industry for that year.

Old Mutual Malawi bagged the Best Internationally Adapted Campaign of the year award, Best COVID-19 Communications Campaign of the year award, and completed the treble with the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of the year award.

“Ultimately, our brand value is the result of the trust that customers place in us as well as the employees that deliver on our promises. Each of these awards represents the creative work we do in uplifting our communities and delivering our customer promise. The key to Old Mutual’s success is being resolute on our purpose of championing mutually positive futures every day,” says Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager for Old Mutual Malawi Patience Chatsika.

Best Internationally Adapted Campaign of the year award recognized Old Mutual Malawi for its excellence in adapting campaigns that originated from outside of Malawi by businesses operating in Malawi.

The Best COVID-19 Communications Campaign of the year award was awarded for the company’s most effective COVID-19 communications campaign which impartially communicated the benefits of getting vaccinated.

The CSR Initiative of the year award recognized Old Mutual’s commitment to delivering a positive social or environmental change and for the effective harnessing of an organizations’ influence to deliver the same.
