Tanzania Pledges to Work With Malawi
Tanzanian Government has reaffirmed its commitment to provide technical support to Malawi in the realisation of well defined economic, political and trade policies.
Tanzanian High Commissioner to Malawi Humphrey Hesron Polepole made the sentiments Thursday when he presented letters of credence to President Lazarus Chakwera at the Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
"Tanzania is geared to work with Malawi government in different sectors of development and this is inline with targets that exist in the bilateral relationship between these two countries," Polepole said.
Minister of Foreign affairs Nancy Tembo, has however commended the Tanzanian Government for it's continued support to Malawi towards social economic development.
"Malawi continues to benefit from Tanzania in various sectors such as trade, transport among others and we believe our development strategies will be fulfilled," she added.
His Excellency Humphrey Pololepole has expressed hope that the relationship that exist between Malawi and Tanzania will reach new heights during his mandate.
