The firm’s Managing Director Audrey Mwala speaking at the end of a two-day training of government officials from Namibia on project financing said project financing is key to development.

Mwala said the training was necessary as it helps officials to know bankable projects and woo significant investment to transform the economy.

She the officials were also drilled on risks that involved in infrastructure development several projects.

“Participants at this training have been drilled on project financing and several other areas that are necessary in spurring development. It is a topic that is necessary as it is key to developing economy across the globe.

There is a traditional that most of funding for infrastructure development should be funded by government but if you see the trends around you would see that it is difficult. This training took advantage of that trained participants on finding other means of funding infrastructure development” said Mwala

One of the participants, Nafimane Sipanga from Namibia says the training was an eye opener and will help in spurring development in their country.

He said there are several areas that came up in the training that will him and the whole entourage in developing their country.

“The training is pivotal to me and fellow Namibians that came here to understand project financing.

This will help us understand better.

The knowledge gained here will help in improving infrastructure development,” said Sipanga.
