In its drive to take personal finance training beyond Malawi, the training and business consultancy firm, Sycamore Consult Limited, has stressed that financial discipline is key to creating long-term wealth and financial security.
Managing Director for Sycamore Consult Group with operations in Malawi, Zambia, South Africa and Dubai, Audrey Mwala, emphasized this on Monday during a financial discipline training held at Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia.
Mwala, speaking in an online interview from Zambia, highlighted that financial discipline is essential in making sound financial decisions and should be embraced by everyone.
She urged people to invest wisely and avoid unnecessary spending in order to make progress in their finances. Mwala added that there are several lessons Malawi can learn from their Zambian counterparts when it comes to financial discipline.
One of the participants at the training, Moono Mwaanga, said the training was timely and would ensure better financial discipline in the future undertakings of entrepreneurs.
Sycamore Consult Zambia has been holding a series of trainings in the country aimed at bridging personal finance knowledge gaps.
