Balaka District Council Staff In Town Clean-Up

Balaka district council spokesperson, Mary Makhringa, says this is a brainchild of new District commissioner Emmanuel Bambe.

Bambe, council staff the civil society organizations and the business community joined the clean-up campaign launch by sweeping, slashing and waste management among others.
Chairperson for a network of Balaka civil society organizations Charles Sinnetra says this is a welcome development and has already called upon all members to support this noble cause.
Sinnetra says:- “Almost all civil society organizations have expressed interest to make sure it is a success.”
