State lawyer, Victor Jere, told journalists outside a court on Wednesday afternoon that the ruling has been delayed on this pretext and will be rendered this Friday.

“Essentially, the Magistrate says he had the ruling in his laptop and that, unfortunately, it has crushed. So, he has just informed us to say he has shifted delivery of his ruling to Friday with the hope that by that time, will get somebody to work on his laptop and print the ruling,” said Jere.

Interested parties and representatives of rights bodies came out of the court room with gloomy faces after the postponement of the ruling.

Between 2018 and March 2020, Akster, former Financial Director at Timotheos Foundation is accused of taking advantage of his position to demand oral sex from six male students and three young people to who came forward to report.

It is reported that the students and three young people went to seek scholarship opportunities and bursaries at the foundation.
