T/A Mposa of the area, says despite efforts to inform their Member of Parliament, Grant Ndecha on the matter, nothing tangible has been done.
He says education has been affected at the two schools as learners are failing to concentrate in fear of harsh weather conditions, since classes are being conducted outside.
"There has been nothing on the ground, despite telling our MP about the matter. Now we have decided to source funds on our own to rehabilitate the facilities for education to return to normal," said Mposa.
MP Grant Ndecha has acknowledged the problem but says, the rehabilitation process of the school blocks has delayed due to unavailability of funds in the Constituency Development Fund
Ndecha, however, has promised to start the works in the next three weeks.
"I am aware of the issue, just that we didn't have funds in the CDF, but within the next three weeks, we will be able to renovate the blocks," said Ndechi.
