Fredokiss, real name Penjani Kaluwa, has disclosed his ambition to train 10, 000 young people in blockchain and technology in a drive to create jobs for them.

The urban music star on Thursday presented the project proposal to labor minister, Vera Kamtukule.

The ministry’s Facebook page posted that “minister of Labour Hon. Vera Kamtukule received a technological skills proposal from CLST City through their representative Penjani Kaluwa, popularly known as Fredokiss.

“Through the initiative Tech Savy Youth will be able to be employed remotely thus providing labour compensation inflows.

“CLST City is a music and entertainment metaverse platform that will host concerts for major and independent artists globally, physically and virtually.”

“It is with this background that the Ministry of Labour recognizes the potential of the creative sector in job creation as well as skills development.

“In addition, the proposal aligns with the job creation strategy, the MW2063 and MIP 1, focusing on the impact of the youth in achieving the respective objectives,” it added.

Fredokiss told Zodiak Online that “the initiative is also my way of contributing to job creation which is a priority for government. Besides that, young people who are in majority are the ones who need job opportunities.

“I am working with colleagues from other African countries. Everyone was requested to come up with an initiative besides the music and art and for me, I thought of training 10, 000 people in block chain marketing activities that will be positioning these young people for the future.”

He said his expectation is to the 10, 000 rippling beyond 10, 000 by presenting the impact to other people.
