Police in Thyolo have been challenged to be satisfied with what they possess if they are to resist corruption.

In his reflection today, South East Police regional spiritual officer Evangelist Sub Inspector Kondwani Kambewa, encouraged the officers to find some means of maximising their income as opposed to grabbing from people.

Kambewa in his sermon themed 'When men of force need a greater force' (II Kings 5:1-14), asked them to align themselves to God's power to counter their daily struggles, such as stress.

The police evangelist has also asked the officers to desist from extra marital affairs.

On his part, Thyolo Police Station (ACP) Ulemu Kaluwa acknowledged the need for God's reliance for a strong law enforcement agency, "We can do nothing on our own without the power of God."
