Three Days of Darkness in Nsanje and Chikwawa

People of Nsanje and Chikwawa have now entered the third day without electricity, owing to what ESCOM says is a technical fault.
According to one of the residents, the power failure has compromised life since Sunday.
"This has affected us badly. It appears pumping of water has been affected since we cannot access any," said one of the residents.
This is also coming as pre-paid customers have for the past 48 hours, been unable to access the corporation's vending system due to a technical fault.
Speaking to Zodiak today, ESCOM Public Relations Manager, Kitty Chingota says a technical team is working tirelessly to rectify the faults.
On vending system, ESCOM said it will be restored by Tuesday.
