Wendy Harawa Calls Help for the Needy

Gospel artist, Wendy Harawa through her Wendy Harawa Foundation, has reiterated the need for everyone to empower vulnerable people and embrace the spirit of reaching out to the needy.

Harawa who is currently on a charity tour in some African countries in partnership with US-based Remy Brown Foundation, has stressed that giving even little things and supporting with business capital, can make a difference to the great struggle among the marginalised communities such as windows, youths, elderly.

“I always say God uses His people to bless others and I choose to be his vessel. These initiatives are one way of spreading the gospel.

"We are ready to partner anybody that may want to help us in any way because we have alot of people who we intend to reach,” she said.

So far, apart from helping some orphanages in Malawi, the foundation has helped the needy in Nigeria, Uganda and plan to expand to Kenya next week, Zambia and then back home, according to Harawa.

The foundation has been helping the needy with food stuff, school fees, business capital and clothes, among others.
