Grave of Albino Boy Tampered With
Unknown people have tampered with a grave yard of a two year old boy with albinism in Mulanje district.
The boy died on 6th December, 2019 and was buried the following day.
Police Spokesperson Sub-Inspector Gresham Ngwira told us that the ordeal was noticed on Tuesday at Duguda village in the area of Senior Chief Mabuka.
“The suspected criminals were not successful to get the coffin because half down the grave was sealed with concrete,” said Sub-Inspector Ngwira.
The Police Spokesperson said police are hunting the people suspected to have tampered with the grave.
Sub-Inspector Ngwira also described as mere myth use of body parts of persons with albinism as rituals for worth accumulation.
