Minister of Transport, Jacob Hara, has disclosed that the government has allocated K6 billion towards repairs to some Tropical Cyclone Freddy damaged roads and bridges.

The Teachers Union of Malawi (TUM) has bailed out 250 teachers who were severely affected by tropical cyclone Freddy in the country’s four districts.

The Government of Norway has pledged more financial support to Malawi in disaster response but also alleviating future disasters.
