Veteran politician Aaron Chitsulo has won the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) by-elections held on Friday in Chitakale ward in Mulanje South constituency as the party prepares for the ward’s by-elections slated for March 30, 2021.

Care Malawi International says it has invested $1 million (approximately K780 million) in COVID-19 interventions across 14 districts of Malawi.

Chiringa Magistrate’s Court in Phalombe is yet to pass judgment in a case where nine villagers from Mulanje North are accused of digging part of Zomba-Jali-Phalombe-Chitakale road at Nakamba Trading Center to divert water that flooded to their homes, ten months after the case was concluded.
