EU Observer Team Meeting Stakeholders

The European Union election observation mission is today meeting various stakeholders in Lilongwe on the country's political situation.

Initially, the team was expected to release its May 21 Tripartite Elections final report but faced resistance from several stakeholders including some key political parties.

Acting EU Ambassador to Malawi, Aurelie Valtat has said the outcome of the meetings will be made public tomorrow.

Meanwhile, UTM has maintained it will not participate in any discussion with the delegation while Malawi Congress Party says will only participate in matters outside the Presidential election case.
