Health expert, Dorothy Ngoma, and social commentator Emily Mkamanga were reacting to Mutharika’s Thursday announcement of discovery of a Covid-19 patient here.

While Ngoma blamed government for being sluggish in responding to the pandemic, Mkamanga said authorities have been too comfortable in intensifying efforts to control the spread of the virus into the country.
