SULOM & FAM to Return Sureties to Teams-Covid19
Super league of Malawi-SULOM and Football Association of Malawi-FAM have agreed to return the 1 million kwacha surety that teams paid in line with club licensing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to SULOM President Tiya Somba Banda the two noted with concern that some teams are failing to sustain themselves after FAM and SULOM suspended the kickoff of the 2020 football season following President Peter Mutharika’s ban on public gatherings.
Banda says clubs will begin getting back the funds soon.
