BASMAL Postpone Regional Elections
Basketball Association of Malawi-BASMAL has postponed its regional committee elections citing health concerns due to the coronavirus pandemic.
BASMAL was expecting to hold its elections for regional committees on Saturday but have been forced to postpone as the country registered coronavirus confirmed cases.
According to BASMAL’s general secretary Peter Gomani the elections will take place at a later date to be announced with the use of electronic voting being earmarked.
