Concerned Citizens asks NRWB to Put on Hold Water Disconnections

A group of people in Karonga calling itself concerned citizens has called on the Northern Region Water Board to put on hold water disconnections for communities to have steady supply in case of a corona virus outbreak.

Chairperson for the grouping Lusuwiro Kamwambi told Zodiak Monday that disconnecting water supply will put more people at high risk of the virus.

NRWB Spokesperson Edward Nyirenda has asked for patience saying the Board will meet soon to discuss measures government has put in place.
