Ministry Asks NRWB to Slash Water Tariffs
Ministry of Irrigation and Water development has taken on Northern Region Water Board NRWB to reduce its water tariffsgiven the current demand for the commodity which is largely being used for prevention of covid19.
In an interview with Zodiak Thursday after inspecting some NRWB projects, minister responsible Charles Mchaha observed that NRWB has the highest tariffs among all the water boards in the country.
Northern Region water Board Chief Executive Officer Titus Mtegha committed to present the proposal to its board for consideration.
