One of the youths in the district who claims his ID was collected told us that a team from the 2 parties asked him to submit his ID number for loan processing.

A senior DPP official in the district said officials from the party's regional office should come and investigate the claims as the rumours of collecting the IDs might be true but those who are involved are not doing that for the party's interest.

Meanwhile, UDF spokesperson, Ken Ndanga has told Zodiak online that the allegations are not true and that some parties are coming up with the rumours just to create tension.
