Experts Caution Against Delays in Imposing Lockdown-COVID19
Public health and good governance experts have cautioned against delays in imposing a national lockdown as a means of curbing the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Public health expert Maziko Matemba says any delay could lead to further spread of the pandemic; while good governance expert Victor Chipofya has tipped government to engage all stakeholders for an effective lockdown.
The high court has annulled a 21-day national lockdown that was due to start this midnight following an application by rights groups and some citizens.
