HRDC Justifies Injunction Against COVID19 Lockdown

The Human Rights Defenders Coalition has again called on government to lay proper guidelines before effecting a national lockdown on Covid-19.

HRDC chairperson Gift Trapence told journalists in Lilongwe the group obtained an injunction against the 21 day lockdown not because they are against it but government did not prepare for the exercise.

The rights body has also called for transparency in the use of funds set aside to fight COVID 19 in the country.
