TNM & Airtel Malawi Removes Mobile Money User Charges

The country's mobile money operators TNM and Airtel Malawi have announced that they are removing user fees and charges on personal transfers on the same network for a period of three months in the wake of Covid-19.

Announcing this in Lilongwe yesterday Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe said the move is aimed at minimizing usage of bank notes.
