Observe Labour Rights, APM Urges Employers

President Peter Mutharika has urged employers to treat their workers with a human face in respect of all labour laws rights.

In a statement to mark the World Labour Day today President Peter Mutharika has since committed to implement measures that would save Jobs in the country in the wake of the Civic 19 pandemic.

Meanwhile Workers in the country have expressed mixed reactions on labours day commemoration today with many challenging employers to fully respect all labour conditions on employment.

Workers residing in Zomba city says employers need to prioritise the safety and welfare of employees.
