MEC chairperson Dr. Chifundo Kachale on Saturday in Lilongwe said the electoral body may request for extension as a last resort if some materials have not been supplied by contractors.

While Mbakuwaku Movement for Democracy’s Sinosi Driver Kuwani is only praying for a credible election, Reverend Maurice Munthali of the Tonse Alliance is hopeful that MEC will do its best to hold the election to avoid causing confusion.
