FAM Optimistic Cancellation of AFCON Won't Affect Football Resumption in August
The Football Association of Malawi says the cancellation of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations, will not affect the roadmap in which it expects local football to resume in August but instead will provide it with further time for assessment of the situation towards the resumption.
The continental showpiece, which Cameroon was to host, has been moved to 2022 due to coronavirus pandemic, according to the Confederation of African Football-CAF
