Police Professionalism Under Heavy Criticism

Political and social commentators, Victor Chipofya and Sherriff Kaisi, have cautioned the Malawi Police Service and other security arms to refrain from acting out of fear because of recent change of political leaders.

The two have said this following the arrests of two DPP loyalists during the week, a case which the law enforcers claim have been due to crimes committed in the recent past.

It is, however, clear that police are acting in retrospect of unprofessional conduct.
