International Dignitaries to Miss Chakwera Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony of the country’s sixth leader, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, will be held in the absence of those who may wish to attend from abroad due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ministry of Health spokesperson, Joshua Malango, says the Covid-19 National Taskforce has agreed that international bodies and missions should be advised to use representatives who are in the country to grace the event which coincides with the country’s Independence Day.
Only twenty thousand people are expected to attend the event to be held at Bingu National Stadium on Monday, July 6th.
