Dr. Bandawe was reacting to a question on what should be done to fight coronavirus in the country as local transmission cases continue to rise.

He said at the moment everyone should be treated as a potential carrier of the virus hence people should only go out where necessary.

As of 14 July, Malawi had registered 1671 local transmissions with 67 new Cases.
