ACB Arrests ESCOM Board Chair & CEO
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested former Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi ESCOM board chairperson Dr. Jean Mathanga and Chief executive officer, John Kandulu for allegedly abusing their offices in procurements worth 4 billion kwacha without following procedures.
The Bureau’s spokesperson Egrita Ndala, confirmed the arrests which include former director of procurement Fanuel Nkhono and Emelius Kandapo, senior procurement officer.
