NONM Welcomes Zikomo Awards
National Organization of Nurses and Midwives says it has welcomed the president’s decision to establish Zikomo Awards but consultation and look into their welfare would have been ideal.
Executive Director of NONM, Shouts Simeza told Zodiak online that health workers now need more than an award as their lives are at risk.
Meanwhile, health rights expert Maziko Matemba, believes the awards will help the workers to work hard in the fight against COVID19 pandemic.
