Man Killed at Illegal Gold Mine After Wall of Earth Fell on Him
A 37-year-old man has been killed at an illegal gold mine in Traditional Authority Tsabango’s area in Lilongwe after a wall of earth fell on him yesterday.
An eye witness told us the incident occurred at around 11 o’clock in the morning when the man in the company of three friends were digging deep in the cave of the gold mine to get the precious stones.
He said the deceased was deep inside the cave with his other friend and failed to escape when the cave collapsed.
