Parents Caution Gvt on Proposed Sept 7 Reopening of Kindergartens

Some parents have cautioned government on the proposed September 7 reopening of kindergartens, saying the risk of Covid-19 remains high among kids.

Those that spoke to Zodiak online feel government would be setting a death trap if it reopens kindergartens saying kids are not capable of following Covid-19 preventive measures.

Education expert Benedicto Kondowe concurs with the parents that the decision should be held until a concrete assessment of the first phase of reopening schools is done.
