Chakwera Orders Removal of MANEB Top Management

President Lazarus Chakwera says he is deeply concerned with the mess that has surrounded this year’s MSCE exams and has since given a one-week and two weeks ultimatum to MANEB and Ministry of Education to address all issues on the table.

Speaking Thursday morning when he addressed the nation Chakwera has since ordered the removal of MANEB top management it if fails to track who leaked the 2020 MSCE exams which has led to their subsequent cancellation.

Chakwera has also ordered that the examinations be re-administered before the end of January next year and not March as earlier announced.

Meanwhile; Education expert Dr. Steve Sharra has backed President Chakwera’s decision to reshuffle MANEB top management, saying Malawians have lost trust in them.
