The determination follows a complaint which the HSAs lodged to the office accusing the ministry of keeping them in the dark regarding their employment status since their contract was terminated.

Ombudsman Martha Chizuma has also ordered the Ministry to pay gratuities to those who died while waiting for justice and payback salary deductions by the 28th of February next year.
